Music and the Spoken Word is an honored tradition on KSL NewsRadio and the longest running radio program in Utah. Doug Wright talks to Mormon Tabernacle Choir President Ron Jarrett, Conductor Mack Wilberg, and Assistant Ron Gunnell about the joy brought by the choir's Christmas morning broadcast. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, affectionately called "America's Choir" by President Ronald Reagan and "MoTab" by its generations of fans, has been invited to perform at Donald Trump's inauguration ceremony.

Congressman Chris Stewart joins Doug Wright to talk about his new book Winter Sky , a novel set in World War II about a lone resistance fighter who is stuck in Poland and caught between the German and Russian armies. His memory was erased by an injury and he fights for his life and to remember who he is.

Pinegar about The Little Book of Gratitude for Latter-Day Saints. ​In his new book, Pinegar teaches about the power of gratitude through stories, scriptures, and uplifting messages. He also writes about roadblocks that prevent people from being thankful for the blessings they have and how to overcome them. This is a book written in the Thanksgiving spirit.

Evans may be best known among adult readers for The Christmas Box, but has since gained a new generation of followers among teens and older children with the Vey series, which combines action, science fiction and fantasy, while spotlighting real-life issues all teens face.

Writer and Director Isaac Halasima talks with Doug Wright about his latest Movie "The Last Descent," a retelling of a true rescue attempt from 2009 at the Nutty Putty Cave, when John Jones became trapped upside-down in a space 18 inches tall and 10 inches wide, 150 feet underground,  in an unmapped section of the cave. Jones didn't make it back out, but dozens of rescuers and his family found inspiration in how he lived his final hours.
